Dr. Nasreen Khatri

Nasreen Khatri, Ph.D., C.Psych., is a Clinician Associate at the Rotman Research Institute. She is an expert in the assessment of mood and anxiety disorders in older adults. From 2004 to 2012, she was the Clinician Leader of the Baycrest Mood and Related Disorders Clinic, where she founded and led the clinical, training and research service. She has completed clinical trials funded by CIHR and the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, including the first to find a significant positive impact of CBT on cognition, as well as the mood in spousal caregivers of individuals with dementia. As co-PI, she will oversee the project with nominated PI O’Rourke, with a particular focus on participant recruitment and the study’s assessment and KT aspects.
